SCOPING LOCATIONS FOR A BOOK COVER PHOTO SHOOT

Shoot to Thrill

What a month it's been! I've been putting Defender to bed, working on the structural edit for the second book, which is to be called Hunter, and our second little action hero, Rhett Malcolm, arrived on 10 September. By the way, you can read the blurb for Defender here on the Momentum website, and read about Hunter here.

Meanwhile, we are working on a new website for the books and will be heading for our second photo shoot with Alex Morgan, done by the bubbly Lisa from Lisa Pearl Photography. It'll take place at sparrow's at Clovelly next weekend - and I wanted to share some photos of the recce we did today.

The location is a lot of rock and water and sky - something we deliberately wanted so it had an international feel.

Captain Morgan was drawn to do a spot of rock climbing - no fear of course!

He wanted to take a swim too, but we managed to talk him out of it.

My wife Sar was in charge of snapping possible locations for Alex Morgan to pose (and looking after Junior) - she'll be directing the shoot next week.

I think you'll agree the different textures and colours offered by this location will be fantastic for the new website design and, possibly even be used in the new book cover designs!

We'll be sure to share a few pictures from the actual shoot next week.
